Significant reductions were observed in the following symptoms: heavy menstrual flow, irregular menstrual cycle, premenstrual syndrome symptoms, dysmenorrhea, requirement for medical or surgical intervention for problems, and inability to work during the menstrual period. Given the improved symptoms in all the measures, the authors conclude that the kriya "can be considered as an adjunct therapy for menstrual disorders."
